Telerenna ( Norwegian ; Japanese テーレン海底谷 pillars Kaitei-koku , German , Undersea pillars Valley ' ) is a 35 km long and up to m 1 148 below the sea level lying tunnel valley at the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud -Lands . It ranges from the Telebreen to the Shiraserenna on the east bank of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Japanese cartographers mapped it using sonar measurements between 1973 and 1981. They named it in 1989 based on the name of the neighboring Telebreen . Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute translated this name into Norwegian in 1990.
