Telischynzi ( Ukrainian Теліжинці ; Russian Тележинцы Teleschinzy ) is a village in the southwest of the Ukrainian Kiev Oblast with about 1000 inhabitants.
The village, founded in 1500, is located on the banks of the Roska ( Роська ), a 73 km long right tributary of the Ros and forms its own district council within the Tetiyiv district on the border with Vinnytsia Oblast . Tetiyiv district center is located 10 km northeast of Telischyntsi. The regional road P – 17 leads past the village .
Personalities
The writer, screenwriter, playwright, political activist and civil rights activist Iwan Dratsch († 2018) was born here on October 17, 1936 .
