Tempyō-Hōji
Tempyō-Hōji ( Japanese 天平 宝 字 , Kyūjitai : 天平 ? 寶 字 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from September 757 to July 765 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Tempyō-Shōhō , the following era is called Tempyō-Jingo . The era falls under the reign of Emperor ( Tennō ) Junnin and Empress Kōken .
The first day of the Tempyō-Hōji era corresponds to September 6, 757, the last day was July 22, 765. The Tempyō-Hōji era lasted nine years or 2877 days.
