Tempyō-Shōhō
Tempyō-Shōhō ( Japanese 天平 勝 宝 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from August 749 to September 757 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Tempyō-Kampō , the following era is called Tempyō-Hōji . The era falls during the reign of the Empress ( Tennō ) Kōken .
The first day of the Tempyō-Shōhō era corresponds to August 19, 749, the last day was September 5, 757. The Tempyō-Shōhō era lasted nine years or 2904 days.
