Teresa Maria de Carvalho (born July 25, 1974 in Uatucarbau , Portuguese Timor ) is a diplomat and politician from East Timor . She is a member of the Partido Democrático (PD) .

Career

Carvalho has a degree in teaching.

Among the options for the Constituent Assembly in 2001 Carvalho joined unsuccessfully as an independent candidate.

In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 Carvalho came in fourth on the PD list in the East Timor’s national parliament . Here she became Vice-Secretary of the Parliament's Bureau and a member of the Commission for Health, Education and Culture (Commission F).

In the 2012 parliamentary elections , Carvalho was no longer on the PD's electoral list.

Since 2015 she's Consul General in East Timor in Indonesia Denpasar on Bali .
