Terminal Choice (English "final selection", or more freely "deadly choice") was a synth rock band from Berlin .
Band history
Terminal Choice was founded in 1993 as a one-man project. The first single, Dead Meat , released in 1995, was a hit on the black scene . A year later, the album In the Shadow of Death was released . The band reached their musical high point with the albums Ominous Future and Menschenbrecher . The band now consisted of four members. Terminal Choice is the first project by Blutengel singer Chris Pohl . In his biography in 2017, Chris Pohl announced that he had "buried" the project due to lack of time and missing band members. There was no public statement. The last releases were the compilations Black Journey 1–3 in 2011. The last concerts took place in 2010.
style
Terminal Choice's older songs were purely electronic and included themes such as love, death, and destruction. Since 1998 the band used guitars and played synth rock . They built on this on their last albums New Born Enemies and Übermacht .
