The Terrie Bluff is a turn 1000 m high rock cliff on the Antarctic Ross Island . In the Kyle Hills , it rises 2.5 km south-southeast of Ainley Peak . It marks the eastern end of a hilly elevation 800 m northwest of Detrick Peak .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the cliff in 2003 after the biologist Theresa "Terrie" M. Williams of the University of California, Santa Cruz , who carried out research into the hunting behavior of Weddell seals in the McMurdo sea ice area between 1984 and 2002 as part of the United States Antarctic Program -Sunds had headed.
