Terry Kern (born April 26, 1954 in Duluth , Minnesota ) is a retired American ski jumper .

The first international tournament at which Kern started was the Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 . In the opening competition in Oberstdorf on December 29, 1974, however, he was only 76. In Partenkirchen he came in 52nd and in Innsbruck on 77th place. In Bischofshofen he finished the tour in 37th place and thus remained in all four competitions without any points and thus without placing in the tour's overall ranking. At the 1976 Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Kern took 30th place on the large hill.

On February 14, 1981, Kern performed his only ski flying World Cup in Ironwood and surprisingly took 14th place. So he was able to win two World Cup points. At the end of the 1980/81 World Cup season , he was 80th overall.
