Tesfaye Woldemariam Fesuh

Tesfaye Woldemariam Fesuh (born May 15, 1961 in Alitena , Tigray Province ) is an Ethiopian clergyman and apostolic visitor for the Ethiopian Catholic believers in the USA and Canada .

Life

After studying philosophy and Catholic theology at the Institute of St. Francis in Addis Ababa received Tesfaye Woldemariam Fesuh 1988, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the archeparchy Addis Ababa .

From 1989 to 1994 Tesfaye Woldemariam Fesuh worked as the rain of the Small Seminary in Addis Ababa. In 1995 Fesuh continued his studies at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome , where he obtained a licentiate in moral theology and a master's degree in ecumenical theology in 1998 . After returning to his homeland, Tesfaye Woldemariam Fesuh taught moral theology at the St. Francis Institute in Addis Ababa. He was also the administrator of the Minor Seminary and diocesan chancellor. In 2001 Fesuh was sent to the USA, where he worked as a pastor for the Ethiopian Catholic faithful in Washington, DC . From 2007 to 2011 he was Parish Vicar in the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Washington. In 2015, Tesfaye Woldemariam Fesuh became a protosynkellos of the Addis Ababa Archepark and again became diocesan chancellor.

On July 2, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Visitator for the Ethiopian Catholic believers in the USA and Canada.
