The Tetagouche River is an approximately 70 km long tributary of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the Canadian province of New Brunswick .
River course
The headwaters of the Tetagouche River is at an altitude of 460 m , 54 km west of Bathurst in the southeast of Restigouche County . It flows east through northwest Gloucester County . It finally flows into Bathurst Harbor , an estuary in the south of Chaleur Bay .
Hydrology
The Tetagouche River drains an area of 363 km². The mean discharge is 7.8 m³ / s. In April and May the river carries the largest amount of water, an average of 20.4 and 31.8 m³ / s.
