Tetlanohcan is a municipality in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala . The municipality extends over an area of ​​almost 40 km², the 2010 census counted 9880 inhabitants in the municipality. The administrative seat and largest place in the municipality is San Francisco Tetlanohcan of the same name.
