Tetra Vaal is a science fiction - short film under the direction of Neill Blomkamp and was from 2003 Spy Films released. The film is about an armed humanoid police robot that is used in the slums of Johannesburg in South Africa .

The visual effects were created by Neill Blomkamp and Winston Helgason.

The film is kept in the style of an emergency film and shows the everyday life of a humanoid robot that was designed to support the South African police in action . You can see him on the patrol . He always proceeds alone. He becomes involved in a shootout and is badly damaged but can be repaired to return to service.
