Tetjana Hladyr

Tetjana Hladyr ( Ukrainian Тетяна Гладирь , English transcription Tetyana Hladyr ; born April 17, 1975 ) is a Ukrainian long-distance runner .

In 2002 she came second in the Wachau marathon in 2:34:40 and won the Altötting half marathon in 1:12:09.

The big breakthrough came in 2006 when she won the Rome marathon in 2:25:44. In doing so, she not only set a course record, but also broke the 17-year-old Ukrainian record of Tatiana Polovinskaya . At the New York City Marathon she was second behind Jeļena Prokopčuka in 2:26:05.

She is married to Oleksandr Kusyn , who ran the fastest time ever on Austrian soil with 2:07:33 in the 2007 Linz Marathon .
