Teya Wright (born May 16, 1985 in Paterson , New Jersey ) is an American basketball player .
Life
She has a bachelor's degree in business administration . She volunteers to support young people through sporting activities for the 4th and Inches Foundation .

Wright played for Paterson Eastside (NJ) High School and then for the University of Massachusetts . In 2012 she moved to the German first division club Herner TC, where she plays in the center position. She celebrated her greatest success in the 2014/2015 season when she and Herne took second place in the Bundesliga season behind the undefeated series champion TSV 1880 Wasserburg and achieved the best value in their team with 365 points and 191 rebounds in 24 games.
