Théodore Guérin (born October 2, 1798 in Étables-sur-Mer , Bretagne as Anne-Thérèse Guérin ; † May 14, 1856 ) was a Catholic nun and saint.
Guérin founded the Roman Catholic women's order Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (Sisters of Providence) in Indiana, USA, and several girls' schools, including Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Vigo County .
On October 15, 2006 she was given by Pope Benedict XVI. canonized .
