Thaer Fayed al-Bawab ( Arabic ثائر فايد البواب, DMG Ṯāʾir Fāyid al-Bawwāb ; * March 1, 1985 in Amman ) is a Jordanian soccer player of Lebanese - Palestinian descent. He is also a citizen of Spain. He has played for CS Concordia Chiajna in Romania since 2018 .

Thaer Bawab was born in the Jordanian capital Amman , but immigrated with his family to Spain and grew up in the small Catalan town of Cornellà de Llobregat .
Career
Thaer Bawab started playing football in the youth division of UE Cornellá . Then he moved to the youth of the big club Real Madrid . After an odyssey in various youth teams of the capital club, the second team of FC Barcelona and the lower-class clubs CE l'Hospitalet and CD Alfaro , Bawab went to the Romanian league at the beginning of the 2010/11 season and signed on with Gloria Bistrița . After half a year he went to league competitor Gaz Metan Mediaş . In January 2016, record champions Steaua Bucharest signed him. In the summer of 2016 he joined the Qatari club Umm-Salal SC . Dinamo Bucharest signed him in January 2017 .
