Radha, a once promising playwright who is now rejected by the theater world and has to struggle for her career, recognizes a flaw in herself at the age of 40 because she is single. When she was teaching a group of teenagers, she experienced a creative revival. She rediscovers her long-forgotten passion for rapping.

It is in The 40-year-old version to the directorial debut of Radha Blank , a movie that also wrote the script. Blank was selected for the 2017 Sundance Institute Directors and Screenwriters Lab to prepare the script.

The shooting took place in New York City. Cinematographer Eric Branco shot the film entirely in black and white.
