background

The film premiered in the UK in March 2009. To reduce carbon dioxide production, the premiere took place in a solar cinema tent in London. In addition, many of the actors traveled by bike and thus underlined the message of the film.

At the second global film premiere on September 21, 2009 in New York City , a green carpet was rolled out for the celebrities and former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan arrived in a cycle rickshaw .

The film was supported by Greenpeace in the UK and funded through the sale of shares to 223 people and groups. In Germany, numerous nature conservation organizations support the film and the 10:10 initiative in order to make people aware of the consequences of climate change.
