Winnie the Pooh's picture book (in the original The Book of Pooh ) is an American animated television series based on the book Winnie the Pooh by Alan Alexander Milne based.

action

The main characters of the series are those from Milne's books and from the cartoon series New Adventures with Winnie the Pooh , Winnie the Pooh , Piglet, Tigger , Eeyore, Owl and the little bird Kessie. The characters experience exciting and funny adventures in the Hundred Acre Forest, which are accompanied by singing and dancing. It becomes clear that the adventure stories come from a book that is in Christopher Robin's room. Christopher Robin's face is never seen in the series.

There are some deviations from the realities of Milne's stories, for example Tigger seems to like honey and Rabbit lives in a tree.

The series is computer animated .

Awards

In 2002 the series won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Children's Series .
