The Cheviot (also called Mount Cheviot ) is the highest point of the Cheviot Hills in Northumberland , England . The mountain with a notch height of 556 meters is located in Northumberland National Park .
A detour of the Pennine Way leads to the flat summit plateau of the mountain, which is the last elevation before the northern end of the path in Kirk Yetholm . There is a trigonometric point at the top .
