action

After graduating from law school, Nicki August's career advancement seems to be inevitable at the public prosecutor's office. He lives a happy life. But suddenly he meets his older brother Carlo again. The joy of reunion is great and Nicki decides to stay with Carlo for a few days. Nicki soon notices that Carlo often has fits of outbursts of anger, that his pretty friends are often beaten by Gabrielle and that he himself terrorizes old Manny. Nicki gets more and more into the world of a criminal. One day they go on a trip to the desert, where Carlo meets Asian business people. He witnesses a horrific murder committed by his own brother Carlo. Nicki flees through the desert with Gabrielle. Soon they are being followed by Asian gangsters and there is a shooting. In the end, Carlo sacrifices himself for his brother, whom he still loves very much.

criticism

"Confused, bloody family saga that lacks any logic in its crime story."

“'GoodFellas' for the poor is offered by this gangster thriller, which cannot be compared to Martin Scorsese's masterpiece, but it still offers solid crime entertainment on a low budget. Lance Henriksen ('Aliens - The Return') makes all the main characters look old in a cameo. Although gangster films have a hard time with the German audience, as befits their standing, the sometimes confusing tension should prevail. "
