The Floorettes was a German soul band.
history
The band from Berlin was founded in 2008 and released their debut album Pocket Full Of Soul in March 2012 , which received positive feedback. Their first album not only sold well in Germany, but especially in Japan. In November 2012 the band played four concerts at the renowned Blue Note Jazz Club in Tokyo . In April 2013 a special Japan edition of their album will be released. The band is stylistically based on soul classics of the 1960s and early 1970s . The band is also supported by strings at some concerts .
Members of the Floorettes are also active in other bands such as The Jooles and Ken Guru & the Highjumpers .
