The Garfield Show is a computer-animated US-American - French animated series that its European premiere in 2008 in French television on France 3 and in the US a year later on Cartoon Network had. The series is based on the cartoon character Garfield , created by Jim Davis in 1978 , a fat, lazy cat with orange and black stripes whose favorite activities are essentially sleeping and eating. Other important characters such as Garfield's owner Jon Arbuckle and the dog Odie were also taken from the comic books.
