The Lazys are an Australian hard rock band.

history

The band was founded in Sydney in 2006 and recorded their first album "Prison Earth" in 2010 after several EPs. The second with the title "The Lazys" followed in 2014. On the latest album "Tropical Hazards" from 2018 the band received songwriting support from Ian D'Sa ( Billy Talent ). Ian D'Sa was also responsible for production together with Eric Ratz ( Big Wreck , Danko Jones , Monster Truck ).

In the meantime the band had moved to Toronto and celebrated their first chart successes in Canada. The first appearances in Europe followed.

During their European tour in 2019, the performance at the Crossroads Festival in Bonn was recorded as a TV production as part of the Rockpalast .

In July 2019 further appearances by The Lazys as opening act for Black Stone Cherry will follow in Germany . This was followed by appearances at the Wacken Open Air in August . and Summerbreeze.
