The Magic Touch is a German rock steady and reggae band.
Band history
The Magic Touch was founded in Leipzig and Berlin in 2006 as a side project of the ska bands Yellow Umbrella (Dresden) and Solitos (Berlin). At first the band played with four people, with Alex Buck as the lead singer. Later Roger Nolda, like Buck a former member of the band Court Jesters Crew from Tübingen, joined as a singer and percussionist. In 2010, Grover Records released the first album "Love & Hate & Politricks". The Magic Touch plays classic reggae and rock steady. Since 2010 the band has also played regularly as a backing band for Jamaican artists such as Pat Kelly, Roy Ellis and Susan Cadogan.
