The Moments

The Moments was an American music trio that was founded in Hackensack , New Jersey , USA in the mid- 1960s .

history

At first the group called themselves The Vipers , with the conclusion of a record deal they renamed themselves to The Moments and released singles such as “Not On The Outside” (1968) or “Sunday” (1969). The breakthrough came in 1970 with the million seller Love On A Two-Way Street , which reached number one in the soul charts and was also able to place in the pop charts. By the end of the 1970s , they released records as The Moments , some of which were also released in England and Germany under the name Moments And Whatnauts . From 1980 the trio called themselves Ray, Goodman And Brown and once again had a million-dollar success with Special Lady .
