The Muppets is an American television series that premiered on September 22nd, 2015 on ABC and features the Jim Henson dolls of the same name . On May 22, 2016, the series was discontinued after only 16 episodes due to poor audience ratings.

In the style of a documentary, the series accompanies some of the Muppets on their “life” in Los Angeles. Mainly behind the scenes of the fictional late night show "Up Late with Miss Piggy" is filmed. Miss Piggy is the host and Kermit is the producer. It's not always easy, as Kermit only recently left Piggy.

- Denise: This pig lady is Kermit's new girlfriend. However, she does not work on the Late Night Show team, but is the head of the station's marketing department.
- Becky: She's Fozzie's friend; in contrast to him, however, a person. Their parents are not particularly coping with their relationship, they are prejudiced against bears.
- Pache: Is a "branding guru" who is sent by the broadcaster to spice up the show. He is not very popular with the Muppets and he often clashes with Kermit in particular. Pache himself spells his name "pizza".
- Lucy Royce: She's the head of the network that runs “Up Late with Miss Piggy”. She has the impression that there is too much talk on the talk show and hires Pache to make the show "relevant" again.
