The Perishers are a Swedish indie rock - band from Umeå . It was founded in 1997 by six members and since 2001 has consisted of Ola Klüft, Martin Gustafson, Pehr Åström and Thomas Hedlund.
Although they have not had any major commercial success so far , they have a large following in North America as well as in Europe . Some of her songs have been played in well-known US television series such as OC, California , Veronica Mars , Grey's Anatomy , One Tree Hill or Greek .
The song Trouble Sleeping was played in a commercial for the Grey's Anatomy series. The song "Sway" was played on the One Tree Hill series.
