After a mysterious dark matter incident, the aeon-class colonization ship Persistence ends up unable to maneuver on the edge of a black hole and is pulled into it bit by bit. The player's task is now to explore the spaceship, to find out the riddle of the mutations and, after reactivating the drive and the life support systems, make the jump back to earth.

Gameplay

At the beginning of the game, the character has neither weapons nor special skills. The fight against the different enemy types takes place in the form of stealth , in which the mutations are either bypassed or attacked from behind. In the course of exploring the spaceship, the player comes across various weapons and items of equipment, such as a harpoon pistol, a gravitational bomb, a shield or the ivy room, which can be used to tame opponents into allies. By removing the opponent's genetic material, the character's abilities are permanently improved and, for example, the character is given higher health values ​​or can move around with less noise.

The gameplay includes elements of survival horror and the so-called rogue-like . Specifically, this means for the player that after a screen death he has no way of selecting certain charging points. All levels are procedurally generated, so they are not the same in any game. If the character of Zimri Eder dies, then you have to start over in a new incarnation of the character and lose all weapons and equipment you have collected. The skills and character upgrades of the game figure that have been acquired up to this point are retained. In addition to the single player campaign, it is possible to explore the spaceship cooperatively with another player. This can then join the game using a smartphone app .
