Band history
The band around singer and guitarist Kevin Cole played in small clubs in New York, before 1996, the first album Damnation Overdrive from Hardcore Punk - Label Blackout! Records was released. As a result, the Turbo AC's toured through the USA and subsequently through Europe.
After their return, the musicians recorded the album Winner Take All on Cacophone in 1998 , the release of which was accompanied by a tour, including through Europe. The third album, Fuel For Life , was produced with Roger Miret of Agnostic Front as producer on Nitro Records and was introduced to a tour with Flogging Molly .
For the album Automatic , the band initially worked with Blag Dahlia from The Dwarves as a producer at Gearhead Records, the record was then mixed by Billy Milano from SOD .
After the release of their fifth album Avenue X , which they produced themselves, a tour of Australia followed. In 2006 bassist Michael Dolan left the band and was replaced by Tim Lozada. Jer Duckworth expanded the formation as a second guitarist.
The Turbo AC's recorded several splits with bands they were friends with, records on which each band plays songs from the other.
