Thea Eichholz
Thea Eichholz (* 1966 in Sauerland ) as Dorothea Eichholz , also known as Thea Eichholz-Müller is a German singer and songwriter of Christian pop music .
Life
Thea Eichholz grew up in the Sauerland and took piano and flute lessons as a child. She gained her first professional musical experience as a choir singer on the musical tour Jona by Johannes Nitsch and Eckart zur Nieden , to which her future husband Bernd-Martin Müller helped her. She sang in the Christians at Work choir , toured with her own Thea Eichholz Band and founded the Layna trio in 1996 with her husband Bernd-Martin Müller and Ingo Beckmann . Since 1999 she has formed Die Mütter , a musical cabaret group, with Carola Rink and Margarete Kosse .
After Bernd-Martin Müller's death in 2003, she released her first solo album in 2005 as Thea Eichholz-Müller. It was published by Verlag Gerth Medien under the title Width your wings and was awarded the Impala Silver Award in July 2012 for 20,000 copies sold .
Seven years later, in September 2012, she released her second album, Anders als Before, as Thea Eichholz. It was produced by Lothar Kosse and published by Gerth Medien.
Thea Eichholz has been married again since 2007. Both of them brought two children each from their first marriages to the new family. They live together in Mannheim today .
