Theodor Müller-Fürer

Ernst Theodor Müller-Fürer (born January 29, 1853 in Holpe , Rhine Province, † March 18, 1913 in Berlin ) was a German journalist .

Life

After studying history, art history and philosophy at the Universities of Tübingen , where he also received his doctorate , and Marburg, he worked for six years as a history teacher in Gütersloh . In 1885 he switched to journalism. He was editor and publisher of the general conservative monthly (Leipzig) and the social issues of time (Minden). In 1889 he joined the editorial staff of the Reichsbote . In 1891 he first became an editor for economic issues as well as an art and theater critic, and later, as the successor to Justus Hermes, editor-in-chief of the Neue Preussische (Kreuz-) Zeitung . He was also a member of the Berlin Press Association . He has published novels, brochures and essays.

Most recently he lived in Grunewald near Berlin. His final resting place is in the south-west cemetery Stahnsdorf .
