Theodor Müncker

Theodor Müncker (born March 3, 1887 in Uerdingen ; † December 27, 1960 there ) was a German Roman Catholic priest and moral theologian .

Life

Theodor Müncker attended the Collegium Leoninum seminary in Bonn. In 1922 he was at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn with the work , the psychological compulsion and its relationship with morality and Pastoral for Dr. theol. PhD . He was later professor for moral theology at the University of Passau , later at the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg .

His work The Psychological Foundations of Catholic Morals was part of the standard work of Catholic moral theology.

Together with Theodor Steinbüchel and other committed theologians in Bonn, he formed the Fritz-Tillmann Circle, which was highly regarded at the time.

Theodor Müncker was appointed prelate . He was an honorary member of the K.St.V. Bavaria in Freiburg im Breisgau in KV .
