Theodor Pichler

Theodor Pichler (born June 24, 1835 in Oberwälden ; † August 21, 1887 in Urach ) was an administrative officer in Württemberg .

life and work

The son of a pastor attended the Lyceum and the Upper Lyceum in Tübingen . After taking the high school diploma, he studied political science in Tübingen from 1853 to 1860 . His professional career began as a volunteer at the Cannstatt Oberamt. From 1861 to 1863 he worked as an actuary administrator at the Oberamt Ulm and from 1863 to 1866 as an assistant at the Stuttgart city administration. In 1866 he became a police commissioner and in 1872 an official in Stuttgart and in 1873 in Cannstatt. From 1875 to 1882 he was a senior official at the Laupheim Office and from 1882 to 1887 at the Urach Office , where he died while on duty.
