Theodor Reuter (theologian)
Theodor Reuter (born December 24, 1813 in Pokrent , † May 30, 1864 between Bützow and Güstrow , full name Johann Albrecht Theodor Reuter ) was a German Lutheran clergyman and parliamentarian.
Life
Theodor Reuter was the son of the theologian Gottlieb Reuter. His cousin was the Low German writer Fritz Reuter . He obtained his Abitur in Schwerin . He then studied in Berlin before enrolling in theology at the University of Rostock . From 1838 he was a collaborator , from 1846 a senior teacher at the Gymnasium in Güstrow. In 1849 he took over the pastor's position in Jördenstorf near Teterow , which he looked after until his death. In 1847 Theodor Reuter became a member of the Association for Mecklenburg History and Antiquity . In 1848/49 he was a member of the constituent state parliament in Schwerin.
