Theodor Roos
Theodor Roos (* 1638 in Wesel ; † 1698 ) was a German history painter and portrait painter .
Life
He was a student of Adrian de Bie. Roos stayed in Mannheim , Strasbourg and most recently as court painter in Stuttgart . He painted portraits and histories and also etched a series of small landscapes . He died in 1698.
His brother Johann Heinrich Roos (1631–1685) was also a painter.
