Life

Theodor Tantzen grew up in Heering and attended the elementary school in Abbehausen and the high school in Varel . Then, at the continued insistence of his father, he decided to take an agricultural apprenticeship. In addition, he was involved as a member of the municipal council, the school council and the district council and was also a member of the central board of the Oldenburg Agricultural Society .

He died of gastrointestinal cancer in February 1893 after two serious operations.
