Theodor Trauernicht (born June 1, 1896 in Ostersander , Ihlow , district of Aurich ; † July 21, 1970 in Ostersander) was a German politician ( SRP ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school in Weene from 1901 to 1908, Trauernicht attended the Aurich grammar school from 1908 to 1915 and graduated from high school. He was a participant in the First World War . After the end of the war, he returned to his long-established family's farm and worked there as a farmer from 1919.

Mourning was not the community leader in Ostersander. He was a member of the district council and district committee Aurich. From 1928 he was chairman of the Weener Agricultural Branch. In 1933 he became chairman of the Aurich District Federation. On February 1, 1931, he had joined the NSDAP ( membership number 448.955), in which he was district office manager for agricultural policy. From 1931 to 1933 he was also a member of the SA , in which he became Hauptsturmführer. In 1933 he was a member of the parliamentary working group of the NSDAP, the center and the DHP in the Hanoverian provincial parliament . He was also a member of the NSV from 1934 and a member of the Reich Colonial Association and the Reich Air Protection Association from 1938 . From August 1933 to 1945 Trauernicht was Aurich's district farmer leader. From 1934 to 1945 he was head of the district office for agricultural policy. In addition, Trauernicht was an independent farmer from 1931 to 1945 and a member of the district church council from 1933 to 1945.

After participating in the Second World War , in which Mourning did not receive the War Merit Cross II. Class without swords (1943), he was interned from May 15, 1945 to December 8, 1947 . On November 15, 1947, the Benefeld-Bomlitz court sentenced him to a fine of 500 marks. On November 26, 1948, the acquittal took place after objection. On May 18, 1949, he was denazified as a “fellow traveler” in Category IV by the Aurich denazification main committee.

From May 6, 1951 to October 23, 1952, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (2nd electoral period). In the period from July 15, 1952 to October 23, 1952, he joined the parliamentary group of Abgg. Dr. Schrieber and Gen. on. After the SRP was banned by a ruling by the Federal Constitutional Court on October 23, 1952, his mandate and that of all other SRP parliamentary group members expired ( BVerfGE 2, 1).
