Theodor Völter

Theodor Gottlieb Völter (born August 18, 1847 in Geradstetten , † April 4, 1910 in Calw ) was a Württemberg Oberamtmann.

life and work

The son of a Protestant pastor attended the Latin school in Schorndorf and the upper secondary school in Heilbronn , where he passed the Abitur in 1866. From 1866 to 1871 he studied camera and criminal sciences in Tübingen . In 18712 and 1873 he passed the higher financial service exams. From 1872 to 1874 Völter worked as an actuary administrator at the Oberamt Wangen . From 1875 to 1877 he was a clerk at the Oberamt Gaildorf and from 1877 to 1886 at the Stuttgart city office. From 1886 to 1894 he headed the Oberamt Herrenberg as Oberamt and from 1894 to 1910 the Oberamt Calw .

In 1895 Theodor Völter was awarded the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of Frederick .
