Theodor Wolff (politician, 1867)

Theodor Wolff (born November 6, 1867 in Schönbronn , † June 22, 1927 in Stuttgart ) was a German editor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wolff attended elementary school until 1879, Latin school until 1881 and the theological seminars of Maulbronn and Blaubeuren from 1881 to 1885 . He then attended the Tübingen University (Stift) until 1889 , where, in addition to studying philosophy and theology, he also studied history and economics. In 1889 he received his doctorate as Dr. phil. with the writing: The Peasants' Crusades of 1096 . In the Protestant church service he was from 1890 to 1899, then from August 1, 1899 editor of the Deutsche Reichspost in Stuttgart. From 1902 he worked mainly for the farmers' union.

From 1903 to 1907 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 3 ( Heilbronn , Besigheim , Brackenheim , Neckarsulm ). In the Reichstag he joined the parliamentary group of the farmers' union.

From 1906 until the end of the monarchy in 1918, he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Württemberg estates and represented the constituency of Marbach . From 1919 to 1920 he had a mandate in the constituent state assembly for the Württemberg farmers and wine growers' association (WBWB) . From 1920 until his death he was again a member of the state parliament in Stuttgart .
