Theodor von Messbach

Theodor Josef von Meßbach (* March 28, 1756 ; † August 17, 1812 in Gochsheim ) was an official of the Speyer Monastery and was accepted into the Baden civil service after the monastery was dissolved . He was the head of the office, comparable to today's district administrator .

family

Theodor von Meßbach was married to Gertrauda nee Fick (* in Eichtersheim ). From this marriage comes the son Josef, who enrolled in the register of Heidelberg University in 1800 as a law student .

career

In 1776 he became a bailiff at the Odenheim Knights' Monastery in Bruchsal and on March 23, 1803, after he was taken over in the Baden state service, he became a senior official at Odenheim . In 1807, von Meßbach became a second official at the Gochsheim office , where he was promoted to senior official on January 20, 1810.
