Theresa Grabner
Theresa Grabner (* 1984 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian opera , operetta , oratorio , lied and concert singer ( soprano ).
Life
Theresa Grabner was born in Salzburg and, after graduating from the Musisches Gymnasium in Salzburg, completed her master's degree with Rotraud Hansmann at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, which she graduated in 2009. She also studied song singing and oratorio with Marjana Lipovsek.
The young singer made guest appearances at the Graz Opera in the 2004/05 season as the first boy (Die Zauberflöte) and in 2006/07 in the production of “Opernreigen in die Zukunft”.
In the summer of 2006 she appeared at the Bregenz Festival and in the following year 2007 at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten in the production of “Ritter Blaubart” as Heloise.
At the Lehárfestival Bad Ischl she could be heard as Adele and Ida (Die Fledermaus) in 2007 and as Mascha (Der Zarewitsch) in 2008, she also appeared in the 2007/08 season as Postchristel (Der Vogelhandler) and in the 2008/09 season as Lisa (Countess Mariza) at the Landestheater Salzburg in appearance.
In the seasons 2009/10 and 2010/11 Theresa Grabner was a member of the ensemble at the Regensburg Theater and, among others, in the roles of Arsena (The Gypsy Baron), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Adele (Die Fledermaus) and Lucia (The Rape of Lucretia) to listen.
In June 2010 she sang Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) at the Théâtre du Capitol in Toulouse.
From 2012 to 2016 she was a member of the ensemble at the Rostock Volkstheater , where she played the roles of Berta (Il barbiere die Siviglia), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Sand- und Taumann (Hansel and Gretel), Maria Bellacanta (the witch Hillery in the Opera), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Despina (Cosi fan tutte), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Nannetta (Falstaff), Blondchen (Abduction from the Seraglio) and Oskar (a masked ball) appeared. During this time she was also with the North German Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. to be heard in the 4th Symphony by Gustav Mahler, in the German Requiem by J. Brahms and in the Coronation Mass by WA Mozart.
In summer 2015 she could be heard as Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady) at the Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl and at Klassik am Dom in Linz together with Michael Schade, Angelika Kirchschlager and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz.
Theresa Grabner has been a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Linz since the 2016/17 season .
