Therese Lundin

Therese Lundin (born March 3, 1979 in Karlskrona ) is a Swedish soccer player .

career

Lundin started playing football at Rödeby AIF . In 1995 she went to Östers IF , where she played until 1997. At the age of nineteen she joined Malmö FF Dam in 1998 , where she has played since. In 2002 she suffered a knee injury that required a break until 2003. In 2005 she was together with Marta with 21 goals each season the top scorer of Damallsvenskan .

Lundin made his debut in the Swedish national team on April 21, 1999 when the selection tied 1-1 with Italy . In the same year she was part of the squad at the World Cup . At the European Championships 2001 she won the silver medal with the selection and was also part of the tournament squad at the 2007 World Championships .
