Amphoe Lat Lum Kaeo ( Thai : อำเภอ ลาดหลุมแก้ว , pronunciation: ʔāmpʰɤ̄ː lâːt lǔm kɛ̂ːw ) is the westernmost district ( Amphoe - administrative district) of Pathum Thani Province . The province is located in the central region of Thailand directly north of Bangkok and is part of the Bangkok Metropolitan Region .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from north): Lat Bua Luang district of Ayutthaya Province , Sam Khok and Mueang Pathum Thani district of Pathum Thani province, and Pak Kret , Bang Bua Thong and Sai Noi district of Nonthaburi province .

Local administration
There are three municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:
- Khu Khwang (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล คู ขวาง ) consisting of the complete tambon Khu Khwang.
- Khlong Phra Udom (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล คลอง พระ อุดม ) consisting of the complete tambon Khlong Phra Udom.
- Rahaeng (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ระแหง ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Rahaeng.
There are also five " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)
- Rahaeng (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ระแหง ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Rahaeng.
- Lat Lum Kaeo (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ลาดหลุมแก้ว ) consisting of the complete tambon Lat Lum Kaeo.
- Khu Bang Luang (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล คู บาง หลวง ) consisting of the complete tambon Khu Bang Luang.
- Bo Ngoen (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล บ่อ เงิน ) consisting of the complete tambon Bo Ngoen.
- Na Mai (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล หน้า ไม้ ) consisting of the complete tambon Na Mai.
