Thierry Debès (born January 13, 1974 in Strasbourg ) is a former French football player and current coach . Grew up in Stutzheim (since Stutzheim-Offenheim ), Debès began playing football in Brumath , where he was spotted by the SC Schiltigheim sifters . He began his professional career at what was then the Alsatian flagship club Racing Strasbourg , with whom he was relegated in 2001 but won the French Cup . In 2002 he moved to Grenoble Foot on loan . In 2003 he moved entirely to this club. He then played for three years at EA Guingamp , from which he moved to AC Ajaccio in 2007 . In 2011 he was promoted to Ligue 1 with this . In 2012 he ended his career. Debès has been the club's goalkeeping coach since then .
