Thomas Anschütz

Thomas Anschütz (born September 22, 1954 in Sinn , Hessen ) is a German painter and photographer . He was best known for his photographs, but he also created oil paintings and designed larger projects such as wall paintings .

Life

Thomas Anschütz studied from 1975 to 1981 at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg . Until 1990 he lived in New York City .

From 2007, Anschütz was a lecturer at the New School for Photography in Berlin.
