Thomas Burghuber (born May 3, 1994 ) is an Austrian football player .

Athletic career

Burghuber began his career at TSV Aurolzmünster in Upper Austria . In 2004 he moved to the youth department of SV Ried , where he was active until 2012. In 2012 he was brought into the first team by interim coach Gerhard Schweitzer . The defender made his debut on May 5, 2012 against the later relegated Kapfenberger SV , when he played from the start and was exchanged for Robert Zulj in the 75th minute . It remained with a use in that Bundesliga season. In the following season Burghuber came on three missions without his own goal. In the 2014/15 season, after six missions at the turn of the year until the end of the season, he was at Union Vöcklamarktawarded, where he came on ten missions in the second-rate first division .

For the 2015/16 season, Burghuber moved to the first league promoted SV Austria Salzburg .

After Salzburg's relegation to the regional league, he moved to Union Gurten in the summer of 2016 .
