Thomas David McConkey (born July 29, 1815 in County Tyrone , † February 21, 1890 in Barrie ) was a businessman and a political figure in Ontario . He represented Simcoe North in the House of Commons of Canada as a member of the Liberal Party of Canada from 1867 to 1872.

Born in 1815 in County Tyrone , Ireland to Thomas McConkey, he moved to Innisfil , Upper Canada with his family in 1828 . McConkey was a dealer in Barrie. He served there as steward and watched over Simcoe County from 1860 to 1861. McConkey was an unsuccessful candidate for the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada in 1861. He was elected in 1863 and worked until the Canadian Confederation in 1867. He was re-elected. He later served as Simcoe County Sheriff until he died in Barrie in 1890.
