Thomas Douglas (actor)

Thomas Douglas , also Thomas R. Douglas , (born October 29, 1972 in Lusaka , Zambia ) is a German-British film and theater actor .

Life

Thomas Douglas grew up bilingual (German and English) in Zambia , Iran and Germany. He completed his acting studies in 1999 at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg with a diploma. Permanent engagements at Theater Neumarkt Zurich (1999–2001, direction: Crescentia Dünsser and Otto Kukla) and at Theater Basel (2001–2005, direction: Stefan Bachmann and Lars-Ole Walburg ) took him to Switzerland. From 2006 to 2012 Thomas Douglas was a member of the independent theater group Capriconnection. In 2012 he played alongside Klaus Maria Brandauer in the Cold War espionage film Manipulation . He also regularly takes on assignments as a speaker in English and German. Thomas Douglas has been a freelance worker since 2005 and lives with his family in Zurich.
