Thomas Dowd (born September 11, 1970 in Montréal ) is a Canadian clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Montréal .

Life

Thomas Dowd was ordained a priest on December 7, 2001 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on July 11, 2011 titular bishop of Treba and auxiliary bishop in Montréal. The Archbishop of Montréal, Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte , gave him episcopal ordination on September 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Lionel Gendron PSS , Bishop of Saint-Jean-Longueuil , and André Gazaille , Bishop of Nicolet . As a motto he chose Cor et Anima Una .
